At the end of September, we celebrated the opening of our new branch in Chelmsford near the city’s Cathedral, with a launch event on Saturday 29th September.

Our new franchise situated in Tidal Square, was officially opened by the Mayor Yvonne Spence, with her consort and the town crier, Tony Appleton, who also attended. The highly anticipated opening event was a hive of activity, with a bespoke CENTURY 21 cake and saxophone player adding to the celebrations.

The new franchisee, Ryan Duddell comments: “I have always been interested in property and estate agency, but I decided that I didn’t want to work for someone else. Being able to be part of a worldwide brand such as CENTURY 21, and benefitting from its recognisable global image, attracted me further. My aim is to bring professionalism, competitive pricing, and better offerings to the local area of Chelmsford.

“We have some fantastic new marketing and sales tools which are unique to CENTURY 21 Chelmsford City, which we think could help turn your for-sale status to sold. We ensure that we vigorously market your property to maximise its audience and to generate interest. We can bring a fresh, enthusiastic but most importantly, a professional approach to help find the buyer you’re looking for.”

The new branch promises to offer some fantastic opening deals and are also the first agent to launch a £0 tenant fee option ahead of the tenant fee ban, which is due to come into effect next year. Ryan also explained that he will be offering a discount to anyone currently working in the Public Sector, i.e. teachers, doctors, nurses, and emergency service workers.

When commenting on this promotion for public sector, Ryan expressed his discontent for the current cap on public service pay, and added: “I feel it’s only fair that we as a business say thank you to these tremendous people for all their hard work, effort and more importantly dedication for carrying on with their roles even with the increase of demand and strain on their services.”

Chris Summers, our head of sales and development here at CENTURY 21 UK, commented: “The opening of our new branch in Chelmsford is further proof of CENTURY 21 UK’s outstanding growth and evidence that it is maintaining its momentum as we start the final quarter of 2018.”
